Hey guys, I want to build a filter for my 125 gallon, but not a sump. I want something like a pool pump with a cannister filter. I need some ideas and what NOT to do. I need to know what size pump to buy and what size filter to get and so on. I have mostly parrot cichlids in my tank. Right now I have 2 oddysea cannister filters and they are starting to slow down and cavitate on me. I've cleaned them thorougly and all the plumbing, but one of them never did act quite right from the start. Anyway, I want to upgrade to a better filtration setup and something easier to clean too.
