I recently moved a 55 gal I had had running for about 2 years with no issues.
When I was refilling the tank, I noticed the filter needed changing, I did, 5-6 days later it needed it again, I put the new filter in at 9 pm last night as well as a chunk of alge from another tank to try to settle the watter, I wake up this morning, and it's overflowing again.
Did movieng the tank really upset the balance that much, overall about 20-25 gallons of the water was reused from the tank's first spot.
Normaly these filters go for a month
