filter media and heater

ijust bought a 150 gallon tank with a 60 gal, 250.00 for both i am almost done with building stand.

i purchased 2 via aqua 750 3 stage cannister filters 315 gph
and am going to raise large cichlids so and central americans

what media and how shoud i arrange it.

what heaters how many and how many watts.
i see the azoo 500 watt titaniums and they look good but i haven't read anything yet.

That 60 gallon would make a sweet DIY sump combo with that 150! Can you return the filters?

I run single titanium 500W Finnex on a Finnex digital controller- works perfect on my 150! However most will say that it’s better to run two smaller heaters incase one fails. Either way id get a controller- Ranco is probably the best.

I prefer pool filter sand-looks like you’re already set for substrate!
