Just wanted to put this out there. . . . .

Dear aquarium Guru's, Pls share your extensive knowledge with us newbee's on where to get regular maintenance material.

1. Where to you get the cheapest Filter Felt and sponge media.

2. Where top get the cheapest activated Carbon and etc.

3. Where to get the cheapest fish food's and etc.

I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE NOT PAYING FULL POP AT THE LOCAL FISH STORE, SO WHERE OR WHAT DO THE VETERANS DO FOR THESE ITEMS ??????

ALSO, PLS FEEL FREE TO ADD ANYTHING THAT MAY HELPS US NEWBEE'S. . . .

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME : )

1. Use potscrubbers. You can usually pick them up from the dollar store for cheap.

2. Carbon is carbon. You don't need reef grade stuff, so your LFS is probably your best bet.

3. I've found the most cost effective means of feeding my fish is at the grocery store. Get all your fish eating shrimp, squid, and fish bits and you can purchase whatever is on sale. Works wonders for monsters.

But yes, this is the wrong section.
