Anyone have any experience or knowledge of using titania, titanol or TiO2 as a filter media, for the reduction of TOC?

Anyone? I know some one tried it by coating the sand in one of those big fluidized bed bead9(sand) filters with tio2 but i cant find much about it, was wonfdering if you guys had heard any rumours...
Would you want a filter that could remove the organics from your tank, ie fish hormones, pesticide residues ect?
