filter media

So I'm thinking about switching to bio balls in my canister and would like to hear input on if I should go with just that or add some other media as well. The filter is a penn plax 750 cascade

i actually run casecade brand ceramic bio media in most of my canisters. And i have 4 bags in my sump as well. it is pretty good stuff.

Because of the limited amount of space you have in most canisters I think ceramic bio media is better. Because it has a much greater surface area than bio balls.
