I'm going to try my hand at saltwater with my 125long. I'm thinking FO.. Maybe FOWLR but I'm really trying to just use my extra FX5... My question is, with such a huge chamber for media, what should i run in it for saltwater? I was told not to use alot of carbon, and i wanna throw purigen in it, but what else?

will that stuff be ok in a cannister filter? ofcourse using a filter bag to cover it but will even the small pebbles that leak threw mess anything up?
