Filter placement

Thinking of moving all the filtration on my 6' tank to one end so the current flows more in a cycle right now the two hang on backs are on opposite ends of the tank with a canister kind of off set.

Would put one hob on the side of the tank with the canister out put beside it, and the other hob on the back up against it.

Seems like a good idea to me but have never tried it so thought I would ask.

Depends on what fish you have . Some like the "river" flow, some don't
