I currently have a standard 55 gallon tank with (1) Penn-Plax Cascade 1000 canister filter. I’m using the spray bar (running horizontally at the top, aimed at the surface of the water) right now.

Im upgrading to a standard 90 gallon tank and and going to add another of the same filter to this tank. Any suggestions on placement of the output for both? The tank is going to be stocked with central American cichlids with wood/rocks/plants. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I don't know if it's the best way but my sprayer runs mid height of the tank, half aimed up and half aimed down in an effort to create current and avoid "dead spot". Up to now worked well and helps stirring debris to eventually getting sucked up by the intake
