I have a biowheel 200 on my 45 gallon tank at the present, and I'm running an airstone on it. I recently came across a great deal for an AC70 so I picked one up, figuring that the extra filtration will be great for the tank and having a backup is always a good thing.
My question is that, I currently am fighting a bout of ick in my tank. Should I wait to put the new filter on? Will it be harder to kill off with the new filter? This is my first time dealing with ick in a tank, so i'm just not really sure if the new filter will help/hurt/not make a difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
