Nope
I just received all the stuff you see in the picure below in a trade. I really only wanted the sump, but the guy threw in the other stuff you see. I'm a complete noob and have no idea how to hook some of it up. It is going on a fw tank. I know the protein skimmers will do me no good, and I have a pretty good idea about the sump. But what about the other 3 filters? Thanks in advance.

Hmmm..looks like no one knows how to set them up. I tried to find out how on my own, but I came up with nothing.

Sorry, I forgot to reply last night :)

I did some searching too to help you out. Like you, I didn't find much.

It doesn't look like everything is there to make a complete system. Of course, you're missing the pump, hose and fittings. Not sure if there are other components needed or not.

Having said that, it looks like a really nice system. I found one photo that looked similar. Basically, they were coming out of the pump in the sump into the trickle canister, then up to the tank outlet.

I am hoping some members here know what all this is and how to install it. I would love to see a photo of the final set up!

Nice score on the freebies :)

Good luck to you...

You will need some hose's but how i would hook them up is from your overflow go into the floss media canister and the outlet from there into the canister with red bio balls and i don't see a use in the blue bio balls enless you want more bio filtration... then into the first box of your sump with whatever you want in there and so forth hope this helps i couldn't find much info on it as well but if i find something out i'll be sure to post it

Thanks CLDarnell and Sniper, i'm hoping someone has info to..lol..The pump and fittings i can get with no problems. I just have no clue how to hook it all up. Plus the sump looks strange to me. I don't have alot of experience with sumps..None at all actually. but it has the 2 dividers all the way to the top of the tank, and the water has to flow under them. All of this was originally in a 70 gallon reef setup. So like I said before, I don't know if it can be used in a fw tank. If not I was thinking about making a spare 29 a sw setup.

those are large modular canister filters. they work well for large aquariums and work similar to lifegard inline filters. the thing with blue sponge filled balls is a nitrate reactor and is designed to be plumbed into something with very low flow. oxygen is bad for nitrate eating bacteria and that is ment to be super low o2

I have a 150 gph pump. Would that be good for the thing with the blue balls....

I did some research on the nitrate reactor....Wow it seems really complex..probably way overkill for my setups.

What size tank is this going on? Unless it is real big, I would just use the sump. You can turn around and sell the protein skimmers bio tower and the 2 canisters and get a few bucks. Just jam that sump full of bio material and you'll be fine. It looks like a pretty good size from the pics. If you want to go crazy, use the sump and tie the 2 canisters together with another pump and put micron cartridges in them. Definately ditch the skimmers and the bio tower that thing is too small to even bother setting it up for freshwater.
