I just set up a 220 with an XP4 canister on it. I know it needs a bit more filtrations as I am going to have about 5-6 large fish in it. However, I am tempted to buy a FX5 and slap it on there, but I kinda like the idea of a wet / dry. Is the wet / dry that much better? And would I be ok of I just went the 2 canister route or would I need a bio filter like an AC110 to go along with it?

Any filter you put in is gonna have bio in it as bio is self-producing and will latch on to porous surfaces in your filter. The AC 110 is a good option, but with a big emporer you get Wet Dry filtration from the bio-wheel.Also youll save big bucks buying either of the Hang Over the Backs over the FX5.
