I wanna know as much info as I can about Crystal Sea Technoflo Filters. One of the LFS near me has some for a pretty reasonable price. Just curious how good of filters they are. Don't wanna pay a bunch for a filter that won't really work like its supposed to. If anyone has used them lemme know!! Thankz! These are the ones I am interested in....the Bio 260 for the 300gal tank.

Don't waste your time with these. They're basic bargain basement mechanical filters. Their biological filtration capabilities are a joke. About the same time you build a decent bacteria culture, it's time to either clean (to unclog) the insert or change it out. If HOB is the route you want to take, you're better off with a bio-wheel. You'll still have the limitations a small insert causes. But, at least, you'll have decent biological filtration via the bio-wheel. You can find the 400 gph Emperor Bio-wheels for less than the junk 300 gph filter goes for.
