filter setup

hi..which would work better drum filter or a trickle filter for my pond,i have been using a drum,was thinking of settup up a trickle instead

the more the better , what kind of filter set up did you have in your barrel

i had the inlet from pump in the bottom of drum.then a milk crate were the solids would settle,water would pass through filter floss then bio balls,then return to pond

a TRICKLE TOWER is not the same as your set up , IT works as a degassing unit and biological unit without the filtering, you still would need to filter the water first thru floss or ?, or just by adding the trickle tower to your unit

could i use filter floss and scrubbers at the top of the trickle tower...with out using the drum filter???
