Filter socks

Where do you order your filter socks from? In the past I have always ordered from McMaster-Carr, but recently they stopped including that sewn in handle above the supporting ring. Now I have to manually tie them to the pvc if I want to continue using them, I would rather hang them over the pvc as it is much easier.
 
Can you share the model # that you ordered that came with no hanging strap?

On 3/16/2012 I ordered 51595K77, 51595K75, 51595K74, 5162K89, 5162K88, 5162K87 and these all came with the sewn in strap. It looks like since then all of those model numbers have changed slightly; hopefully that doesn't mean that none of them come with straps anymore because I also used them to hang my socks.

I sent McMaster an e-mail asking about the change...hope they still carry some with straps.
 
I actually called them before I made this thread and the associate confirmed that none of their current bags come with straps. I asked them if I could custom order them and they said no.
 
That's weird; a guy named Joe at McMaster responded to my e-mail yesterday afternoon. He wrote, "The 51595K77 comes with a sewn in strap."

Did the socks you recently bought come with a steel retaining ring or did they come with the plastic flange?

Last time I bought socks was in Dec 2012, they came with metal retaining ring and sewn handle. I will look that model up, I really need the sewn handle.
