Filter too powerful?

Just before I get the 4 little pbass I have one last question. I have an aquaclear 110 on the 20 gallon they are going into but I have some concerns that it may be too powerful as some fish have gotten stuck to the intake in the last couple months. I am unsure if they were already suffering from some other ailment but have any of you ever had this problem? I almost feel like putting them into the 90 gallon with a tank divider and feeding the oscar less with dialy water changes might be a better idea, what do you guys think?

theres never too much filtration! they'll be fine how "little" are they

Dial down the intake strength by pushing the intake pipe to the right?

It should be fine. I had an Emp 400 on a 20g once...cleanest tank I ever had

just put a fake plant by the intake of your filter.

Better yet slip a sponge filter over the intake

There really is no such thing as too much filtration...too much current maybe, for the juvies, but not filtration.

they should be fine i have a 29g and im running the same size filter.. i also have a sponge over the intake portion
