the aquarium i am buying from someone does not come with a filter...i need to know what is the best filter for a 5 gallon aquarium in the aquarium only will have a Betta,so i do not want something that moves the water to move,and since i live in Canada sites that ship there would be great thank you

since bettas are rather weak swimmers, i would go with an air powered filter like a sponge, or box.
