i was thinking about doing something nice for my mom seeing as she has a bunch of goldfish in a 55 and always wanted a pond. she has a few of those cheap pools that are in between a pop up and a regular pool and she bought one over the summer that has already broken. would it be possible to use the filters, which are much like regular pool filters as a filter for a pond? i mean you run a bunch of water through it and the chlorine would be gotten rid of right? what else would i need to do before i could use this as a filter for my moms future pond.

just running water with prime through it should get rid of the chlorine, just make sure it's good and clean before use, i've heard of a few people using these filters on ponds before.
