ok i was wondering can you you's a canister filter off a pond for a fish tank? i was looking on ebay and you can get the filter with a built in uv for like 70$ and a pump for about the same that are rated for a 1500g pond. yet you pick up a fx5 for about 300$ and it is rated for less then half. was just wondering if anyone has done this and if it could be done it shour would save a ton of money.
