filtering 350g indoor pond

picked up an indoor pond a while back and decided to set it up coming spring. just got this in the mail today,

5.3g of matrix plus 30 pounds of ceramic rings from my 250g and 1000 scrubbies. going to house 3 silver aros, 8 dats, a motoro?, and getting a black aro soon. more to come...

Pond matrix is the same as regular matrix am I right? Just the quantity

I think the size of individual pebbles in Pond Matrix is larger than Matrix. Not that that's a problem...

Pond matrix is good for sumps over regular matrix because the pond matrix's larger size pumice pebbles won't fall through the eggcrate. If you don't have eggcrate in the sump, then you can use just use regular matrix. Yes they are the same, just different sized.
