I'm planning a plywood pond build (no viewing windows; pond liner) starting about a year from now. The plan is a 15'x5'3' pond split into 3 sections so that each section is roughly 500 gallons. I want to have 1 pump running to 1 bead filter to filter all 3 sections. Is a 1HP pump strong enough to filter and return to all 3 sections?
Also, suggestions on pumps, bead filters and heaters are welcome
