Hey
I'm still getting used to keeping fish. Soon I'm going to get a tank 75-90 gallon tank and I've never owned one so big. I know everyone on this forum is knowledgeable so I was hoping you guys could help. I was wondering what type of filter to use. I really don't know how the bigger filters work. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

How many and what kind of fish do you plan on keeping in there?

i personaly reccomend you start out using a canistor filter imo they are the easiest to work on and allow specific filtering options when needed in a begginer situation.... box filters are messy and tough to get at in situations.... now if you combine a can and a box you will really be in good shape but that all depends on your stock .... i suggest you keep the stock low at first purchase a nice large canistor keep your water good and take it from there

First research and understand the nitrogen cycle, this knowledge will help you in maintaining you new tank and choose the right filter.

It is probally going to be a 75. Maybe something a little bigger.
Im going to keep 3 balas, a rainbow shark, and I want to put something else to put in there too. Eventually I'll get a bigger thank eventually.
Yea, I know about the cycle too.
Thanks. So a canister?
