Just got 125 gallon tank i always used aqua clear 110 have 2 on tank will this be enough to keep tank clean and healthy for my 1 parror 2 geo jupari 2 clown loach 1 blue acara 3 big tin foils 2 plecos some catfish all about 6' don't want to use cannister any answer????

If you have a petsmart nearby, print off their online price and bring into the store and they will match. Don't have to wait then, and should only be like $40.

I would also add another AC110 and fill it with nothing but biomedia:)

I have two AC110s on my 120 along with a old fluval 403 (for extra Bio).

I can suggest putting pre-filter sponges on your intakes, itll keep more food outve your filter(less maintence) an adds a lil more Bio along with crystal clear water.

Using 2 Emperor 400's and a Rena XP-3 on a 125. All filters are serviced monthly on a rotating basis. Coupled with weekly 30 gal. water changes, aquarium is clear as a bell.

If you decide to go the pengiun route, I'd highly suggust going with the Penguin 350B over the Emporer 400. Same manufacturer, only recommened good for 5gallons more, and quite a bit more money....
