Filters?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
65$ for a 40 gal tank, 20$pump, 20$ pot scrubbers/eggcrate/tubing.....(very upgradeable).....

I may sound crazy, but I'm filtering my 110 with 2 large sponge filters:)

Nothing crazy about it at all Rally. We do it all the time...Each hydro5 has the capacity to handle a 125 gallon tank...one in each corner...or if you want to go nuts...stack pairs...and a nice HO dual outlet air pump and you could filter a 110 for well under $50.00 let alone $120.00

i sat 2- 350 biowheels. each rated at 75g =150g of filtration for your 110.

What are you using for filtration in your current tank? I'd migrate that over and then add extra. Do not run a new tank with fish if you don't already have enough established biological filtration for the new tank!

I'll add in another for the quad hydro 5 sponges, personally I'd run one on an AC70 powerhead, and one on a good powerful air pump.
