On The WestCoast
well, i just bought a fish tank off of my friend.
:icon_naruto10:
its a SEA CLEAR ACRYLiC 40 GALLON.
apparently the custom filter in the back is a "wet dry" ?
i think...

and i can already see my fish cr@p not being filteredt right~
theres still alot on the bottom of the tank.

SO!!!! :nilly:

im planing on sticking a canister filter back there too.
i think the only part im gonna have visible is... the intake tube.
since the custom filter's INTAKE is at the TOP~
ill stick the canister intake all the way under the other intake.
at the bottom.
:D
and the out part, in the back of the custom filter, where it also sprays out.

:eek3: this is HIGHLY expirimental of course~

BUT!!!!!
i need more filtration.
WE ALL NEED MORE FILTRATION!!!!
THERES NEVER ENOUGH FILTRATION!!!!!! MUHAHAHAHA.
:character0087: since the canister max is 100GALLON.
im going to over filtrate just a 100 gallons.
:dbz3_4:

you could also try placing a powerhead near the bottom to stir up whatever settles down there.

Or you can try making UGJ (under gravel jets) to make sure theres no dead spots in the tank.

DAT IS VERY VERY VERY INTERESTING AND SMART. :cool-1:
QUITE INGENIOUS~ :icon_naruto10:
but i have plants...
and a lil dirty gravel isnt so bad for me.

but since its an acrylic tank...
i dont want nothing in there... or rather anything visible.
im going out on limb with having the intake tube visible. :nilly:
so i think ima try with the canister still.
and if that doesnt make me happy~ :dbz3_4:

ill try the pump thing. :character0087:

The powerhead would stir up the fish poop so it could be filtered out by the existing filter. A small powerhead would be much easier to conceal than an intake tube and screen.
