Last week I took down my 30 gal, and I now have a eheim 2213 to use... I'm gonna put it on my 110 that uses 2 2217's... My question is should I use it as strictly bio, or strictly filter pads, or both like a reg eheim setup?... Not sure how effective it will be cuz of the flow rate on a larger tank... Should I use a different type of media? My 2217's are the classic setup... Also can I wash off the bio media and reuse it or should I buy new? Thanks to anybody who read through all this, lol

Unless there's something wrong with your water parameters you don't need more bio filtration, if you want to use it you may as well just set it up with filter pads, they'll act as additional bio filtration anyway.
