Filtration and murky water

Senes yesturday the water was fine my fish were great in there new home the 150 gallon tank running a canister filter a jebo.All of my fish are needing air thier are breathing hard and staying near the surface.And dont know what to and its lates and i am wonder what to.the water is cloudy.so please help

sounds to me that your tank is cycling and you have an ammonia spike...the ammonia burns the fish gill and makes them gasp for air at the surface. I would do a 50 percent water change and test the ammonia............

I agree. Is the tank cycled ? Is it a new filter ? First, you should test the water for ammonia and nitrites and then decide what to do.

i clean out the tank filtration everything except the algae

can put amino chips in which kills amonia in my filter

Dang bro, you sound like your new at this. Just keep doing 25% water changes everyday until your tank cycles, but I would research and read up on how to cycle a tank while you wait till your water is good.........
