So i have a wet dry filter with a 4 gallon bio-chamber and can hold around 15 gallons of water. I will have this run on my 110 gallon at 1000 gph which i believe is more than enough. I will use two outputs. Question is..will the wet dry alone be enough to maintain a medium or slightly heavy stock?

How much/what kind of media are you planning on using?

I have already bioballs and scrubbies and some filter pads, i even have some 100 micron pads.

I don't think your problem would be bio-related as it sounds like you have plenty of media. my concern is that bulkheads and overflows skimming the tops of the tank aren't doing very good mech filtration, leaving lots of particles in your water column. You'll want to add another large HOB or decent canister to do some good mech work to keep that 'crispy' water. ;)

Thanks, that is exactly the answer i was looking for. I thought that even if the filter is more than enough for the tank it still won't be able to pick up the debris at the bottom of the tank..
