im planning on getting a 300 or 350g soon and the guy at the lfs said the best bet for filtration would be 2 xp3 filters i was thinkin sump witch would be better :feedback:

I am a big advocate for the sump filtration. The question i have is what type of fish will you be keeping. Are you planning using any additional filtration such as UV. Let me know and I will respond.

a silver arowana - flowerhorn- shovlenose cat- pike cichlid -and mybe a datnoid :)

i also have a ecoaqualizer if you dont know what that is go to ecoaqualizer.com they are awesome they really boosts filtration

I heard those things were junk..

If you have the ability to, get a sump.. Add your two XP3s to that if you want..

I have a 265gal and 300gal tanks and I would recomend using 2 aquaclear 500's (called 100's now) and a wet/dry sump.

I know they cost a little more but it is the best way to get good fitration and bio.

I have 3 xp3's that I would sell. I used to use them but I have found that aquaclear and wet/drys are the way to go.
