ok looking to set up 55 gallon on the back patio, i really dont want HOB filters, so im looking towards a canister filter. does anyone know of a canister filter that has a uv light built in? thanks , if there arent any, what would yall recomend, thats somwhat cheap. Thanks for any help. :)

You should get a fluval 305 , and for the UV get the Coralife Turbo Twist 9 Watt UV.

get a fx5 from ebay or used for around $160 so if u get a bigger tank u have a big filter sttill

Get a aquaclear 110 on amazon for 65 bucks. Works wonders for my 55.

That is what I was thinking but he does not want a HOB. He also wants a cheap canister. The 2 I am thinking are not cheap. My first choice is the Eheim, my second is the Fluval.

If on a budget get a sunsun HW-404b or HW-304b. That is what I have on my 55 gallon and it has a small uv light on it. You can get a 304b full of media for $100 shipped.

The odyssea cfs700... I know lots of people don't like them, but I love their products! Great deal for $90 too...

I personally got a Emperor 400..

ok ive been looking towards one of the sun sun canisters, has anybody used these, are they good from a quality standpoint, it likes like china crap, but i may be wrong
