Hey guys,

I posted here some time ago about a office fish tank I was setting up, I ended up going with a standard 75 gallon, I just got it here with the stand, top, and lights ready to go.

I'm about to place an order for filters, heaters, etc....

As far as filtration, I'm torn between these options:

Fluval FX4
Eheim Canister
2 x AC110s

I'm familiar with the AC filters but I'm trying to minimize the amount of equipment visible in the tank, as this will be a display tank.

I'm planning on stocking it with a pair of severum as the main focus, with a few smaller SA/CA cichlids like blue acara, firemouth, etc, and maybe a small school of pictus catfish.

Any advice would be appreciated!

I'd go with a canister to reduce visible parts. Anything that gives it at least 5x turnover should be fine. Then you could even do an inline heater so the heater isn't even visible.

go with the eheim excellent filter

you mean in the filter or in the between the tubes? in the filter is awesome, works like a charm and not having a heater in the tank itself looks good.

Gp with a canister. I have a Fluval 404 running my 75g right now. I hear that Eheim is the best so if you could afford it...GO FOR IT!
