I have a 125 marine tank. It has about 150 lbs of fully cured live rock and 125 lbs of sand/crushed coral base. For filtration I'm running 3 marineland emperor 400 HOB filters. In them I have the clam shell cases filled with ceramic rings and the floss pad/carbon inserts. It's turning over at a rate of 9.6 times an hour. I also have a Seio 1500 power head for water movement. Stock in the tank is a dog face puffer at 6", a pair of false percula clowns, a 4" sailfin tang, a 5" foxface rabbitfish, a 3" Niger Trigger, a blue damsel and a bi color pseudochromis. I have a ton of crabs and snails for clean up. All the fish are happy, healthy, eating and growing and show no signs of stress. It's been running for about a year now with no deaths or whacked out water parameters. Should I add a canister filter or let it be and leave it alone?
