Hi all

Just ordered me a 8ft tank package which comes with a 2200h/l internal power filter and a 2400l/h canister filter, will this be enough for this tank setup?
Im gonna use the tank to house a jar, a ck, a couple of salmon tail cats a couple of plecos and a couple of sydontis cats.

I also have my 1200l/h canister filter from my current setup that i can add to aswell,

Will this setup be enough or should i get another 2400l/h canister?

3.7l to a gallon. soooo. If I calc correct 581gph, 634gph

So 4times a hour the tank will be filtered IF I did this correctly. Or I need to go to bed.

an extra canister would be good maybe look into a fx5 to add to your other filtration

Got the tank delivered yesterday, looks massive, cant wait to get it setup.
My biggest fish at the moment is only around 5inches so ill just use the 3 filters i got should be ok for a while untill they all get bigger.
Then id probably add a fx5 and take off either the internal filter or the smaller 1200l/h canister.
Does anyone else out there have a 8footer using canisters? im guessing most will have sump tanks
