The tank is 75 gallons and I don't have any equipment for it yet (or fish, don't worry!). What kind of filters would work really well? I've heard that Mbuna's like being a little crowded, so the filtration has to be excellent. I was thinking of using 2 50gallon Aquaclear HOB filters (I've used that brand's filters before and really like them). Would that be good?? Any other suggestions?

2 ac110 would be plenty.

I would go with these as well.

I went with an FX5 for my 120 g mbuna tank, wanted something quiet and powerful for overstocking...you can pick one up on ebay for $220 usually, then the rest of the cost is what you decide to use for media.

i have 200 gallon tank and fx5, eheim pro3 and hw 303b+(uv). LOVE MY FISH.
