So I have a 135g and here's my stock:

2 pairs of marbled cons
2 FM's
2 O's (6"-7")
2 choc cichlids
1 salvini
7 roselines
8 giant danios

I feed once a day (heavily) or twice a day (lightly)

Filtration:
Fx5 ceramic rings in all trays
Eheim 2217 mixture of bio and mechanical
Emperor 400 sponges and biomax
Big sponge filter

Is this enough? I do 70% water changes every week. I have an eheim 2260 that I'm not using. It was used in a saltwater tank so I have to wash it but haven't gotten myself to do it. I'm getting two ac 110's this Sunday. So that leaves me with fx5, emperor 400, eheim 2217, eheim 2260, and 2 ac 110's.

Should I change my bio/mechanical filtration ratio? I need suggestions on which filter and what media(bio or mech) to use.

Yeah. They've always been 0. It's the nitrates that would go high sometimes when I get lazy to change the water. But I only check my water once a month. Never had a problem.

Any suggestions on the filter combinations I should use?

Additional conventional filter will not help you with your nitrates. So I don't recommend you change unless you notice your water flow or mechanical filter is not good enough. If you have problems with nitrate, you can either do more water changes or add living plants to your system, just wash the pothos plants, and immerse the roots in the water, maybe in your emperor's media chamber to avoid nibbling from your fish.

Oh ok. I was just womdering what combo would work best. Te nitrates only go up when i skip a water change but thats normal for everyone. Thanks for replying.
