How many snakeheads? If a lot I would run at least 4 x Fx5's minimum. 680 gallons is pretty big. On my old monster set up I ran 3 x fx5 on my 450g stocked with 12+ 15"-24" monsters and the filtration was adequate. Why not go sump?

Maybe 1 FX5 for mechanical filtration purposes and a monster sump. I have a 125 gallon sump for my 360.

Well i dont want to deal with overflow and another tank under thats why no sump was just never for the sump thing but thanks for the idea .rt now the three of them are between 26-28 inchs and i run two fx5 and one aquaclear 100 with a skimer attachment on a 180 .
They i know are too big fir that tank cause they grew way faster than anticipated but they still get along verry well just feel bad for them so tying to get this done asap .here is a pic or two of them

Yup u definitely need a larger tank for them. Well I would shoot for at least 4-5 x filtration turn over rate. Each fx5 is rated 525ish gph after filled with media. If u use 2 of them your 680 gallon filtration turn over rate would be 1.75 times...so 4 fx5's would be good IMO more filtration the better. Btw nice snakeheads.
