I just picked up a complete 75 gallon tank with filtration. However, it came with a fluval 304 and the cheap Marineland hob with dual bio-wheels. I'm home for the holidays and was planning on shiping my 2 (300w) heaters down with 2 (ac110) hob filters.

I'm wondering if I should just run 2 ac 110's, 1 ac110 with the fluVal 304, or ditch the fluVal canister and go with 1 ac 110 and an ehiem 2215? I'm in a 2nd floor condo so reliability is HUGE.

Why don't u just run one instead of 2 ac110? It should be ok for a 75g unless u'd just rather not.

The 2 ac110's was my last resort but figured I would throw it down for an option. I could always keep the one for parts or a back up.

That should be ok as long as ur not too stocked with fish and have issues with waste.

Maybe, I'll just buy a new o-ring for the fluVal as a preventative measure and peace of mind. So 1 ac110 and the fluVal 304.

What are you going to keep in the 75? If you have two ac110's you can always start with 1 and add the 2nd if you need to. I Have two on my 120 and it does well, would be even better on a 75.
