Hey guys, I have a 125gal aggressive tank. Theres jd's, oscar, peacock, arowana and a tsn. As you can imagine there messy. I'm wondering what i could do to stir up the bottom better and get a lot of the bigger debris out. I have a Maxi-Jet 1200 powerhead on the bottom to stir it up, I also have 2 Emperor 400's on the back. Does anyone have any idea what I could do? Thanks for hte help.

I have a koralia 3 powerhead for my 125 gallon along with my fx5 and nothing stays on the bottom. How big is your arowana and tsn? Those bad boys are gonna need something way larger than a 125 gallon eventually.

Im looking to upgrade to a 220 or 240 within a month or so. My arowana is about 12-14", and my tsn is bout 18-20". Ive never used a canister before, are they difficult to use?

That really depends on the brand. But generally most canisters are easy to use. The simplest one is Fluval FX5. I really like this filter, just measure and cut the hosing for the intake and outtake, plug and play, a simple and great filter.

If you are planning on upgrading to a 200+ soon, I would say get 2 FX5. Otherwise, a single FX5 is sufficient for 125g.
