okay i found a good deal on cl and have some questions .

I got 2 fx5s , cascade 1000 , ro filter and a 48" T5 light , idk what kind , for 350$ . Good deal ?

I want to use 1 fx5 on each of my two 20g long tanks . They're going to be pleco breeding tanks for l-260 and hypan. sp 'rio lower xingu' , which come from fast flowing waters . I was wondering if that is going to be too much , or if the filters will even fit on the 12" rim of the aquarium ?

on a different note , i also just drilled my 29g and the bulkhead is leaking . i have the gasket on the inside but it's not really helping.. will a gasket on the outside fix it ? its connected to a hose going to a diy w/d , and its gurgling kinda loud . i think i read that if i add a T and place a vent tube with a cap (hole drilled in it) on it , that it will quiet it up . is that correct ?

i think thats it for now , thanks

if everthing works and the filters arent noisy its a good deal

Dang that's a very good deal.... as far as an fx5 for your 20gal IMO will be over kill. Stuff will just be floating and tossed around so I personally wouldn't do that filter in a 20. Your inside gasket is most likely the problem or a cracked bulk head which I would just replace the bulk head. The T that your talking about to reduce noise would work cause I had the same problem and used the T and reduce the noise alot.
