Hey everyone I'm looking in to picking up a 20 gallon long aquarium and I was wondering what would be a nice filter that does about 200gph. I'm going to use this tank as a step up tank for bichirs like beblondie described in her primer on polys. thanks in advance!

200 gallons per hour in a 20 gallon? i have 600 gallons per hour on my 100g. if you have 200gph youll have a turnover rate of 10x!! isnt that alot for a 20 gallon?
now that i think about it though it does sound like alot for a 20 gallon.....what would be a good filter for a 20 gallon then?
200 gph is not bad.. im just saying that it is alot of movemovment... it would work i was just saying that it was alot.. LOLZ. your water will be really clear!

and no, an ac50 is not too much for a 20g. in fact, thats the minimum i use for a 20. lol
the link in my sig (re-plumbing your AquaClear filters) is an AC50 on a 20L tank

i quess that an ac50 would work but i would just get like and aquen filter for a 40 gallon tank... it would work fine
