So I justpicked up a 220, the owner before of had an ehiem 2262 and an FX-5 for filtration. Will this be enough or should I add my 3 aquaclear 110s as well. Guess you can never have enough.

depends on bio load but it should be enough. i would still add the ac110s
though. you can never have too much filtration! lol...

Currently it will be a 15" tire track eel, 13" polypterus endlicheri, 12" sun catfish and a 10" malabaricus hoplias. But of course I will be adding to this, just haven't decided what yet.

I would add the AC110's but if you do, be very careful about leaving openings that your eel can get out of. They are notorious for jumping out of tanks. I would cover up the return area with some sort of mesh that the water can flow through.

Yeah I know about the eels. I have to get new glass top so when I trim out the plastic pieces for the filters and what not I won't leave any gaps.

I have 3 currently running. Two on one of my 55s and the other 55 has one aquaclear and one penguin 350. So I planned on putting all 3 aquaclears on the 220. I still have plenty of penguin 350s in my extra junk bin to throw on the 55s.
