Filtration question for FOWLR tank

I'm currently running a 27 gal FOWLR set-up 2 powerheads 1 protein skimmer and a UV sterilizer was just wondering if I need to run a power filter like a HOB style or maybe a wet/dry filter, I want to have the water as clear as possible. Any help is greatly appreciated.
