Filtration Question

I have a 300-gallon Rubbermaid tub that I'm setting up for some large groupers and other various SW fish. I've never tackled anything this large, so I have a few questions regarding the best filtration for the system.

I already have a brand new Tidepool 2 that I got a great deal on and am using that as a "sump" to house the heaters/protein skimmer. I was thinking about linking it to an Ocean Clear in-line filter w/a UV sterilizer. If I throw on a couple of powerheads for circulation is this going to be enough (and the best method) of filtration?

Because of the groupers large appitite, I would stay away from a sand bed because they might eat your sifting crew. I would use at least 200lbs of good live rock. Lots of flow is a must as well as a large protein skimmer. Keep in mind that it is going to be difficult to observe your fish becaus of the amount of flow that will be in the system. More live rock you have=the more natural filtration you have. You might want to add a large refugium with lots of macro algea to help you with your waste in the water.
