Hi, I am looking for filtration for my 100 Gal stocked with a few Oscars (2") and GT (2.5") and 5 medium sized Silver Dollars. I am using the Juwel internal and my Eheim from my old tank giving me 1400l/ph filtration. I understand this isn't really enough and I would like to take the Juwel internal out anyway so what are my best options?

The reason I ask about the Tetratec 2400 is because someone is breaking up their tank and looking to get rid of one although i'm not sure how much he is asking.

P.S. I will be looking to upgrade to a 6x2x2 in the future so something that will do for that even if it is alongside another external would be good.

Seems to be what is marketed here(USA)as the marineland C530.
Other than some leakage problems they had on the C360 line, their products have been given decent reviews.
These are being sold, an "on sale" price of $230 usd, not including shipping.
So, I guess it all boils down to the asking price and condition.

It is for sale for £75 ($123US) and he currently has it running on his set up while he is waiting for his fish to be rehomed.

Does this sound like a good deal?

Really not for me, or anyone else, to say..you have to ask yourself whether it is a good deal for you.
