filtration requirements for my 240g

i think i'm the proud owner of a used acrylic 240g w/no overflows or drilled holes, 3 eheim 2128s and an emperor 400. i have a 3-5" midas, jaguar, 2 carpintis, 1 jd and 1 convict. assuming i put a few more fish in this aquarium, is that sufficient filtration or should i be looking at more and/or different?

That sounds good to me, but if it were me i'd change that to two Fx5. After using one on my 190, I am a firm beleiver in it's awesomeness.

I would change out the emperor 400 for a wet/dry. Im running 2 xp3s and a small wet/dry on my 265 with good results so far.

fx5s i dont find very powerful at all. I prefer my marineland c530 rated for 150gals

I run a wet/dry with a pump rated at 1590 GPH and an xp3 on my 240gal tank. I am going to replace the xp3 with an xp4 later.
