Hey everyone,

Recently, I picked up a 47gal bow-front aquarium where I will be moving my FH into. The filtration system of this aquarium is new to me and I would really appreciate it if you MFK'ers helped me out and told me what type of filter I have and how to set up what goes inside it. I'm used to the filters that use a bio-wheel and you just have to replace the cartridge. This one is not like that. I have included photos of the filter to show you what I'm working with.

Thank you all in advance for the replies!! :)

that's a cool filter. it's pretty much like a waterfall type filter.

That's what it seems like. Left side takes in the water, the tube has holes and the water then trickles onto the media, and to the right is an outlet where the filtered water flows back into the tank.

wel good filter how deep is that filter ?
white wool some biorings (or something that house bacteria) and the next you take some other sort of filtration . work's great good eariation .
