hey guys i am after some insight or advice on setting up filtration on my new ply aquarium i am building. Every day i read something else which throws me off and i change my mind again:nilly:. The tank i am building is a 6ft l x 3 ft d x 2 ft h 250 us gall approx it will be housing 2x uaru, 4x geophagus jurupari, 1x black ghost knife and a rectic ray all around the 4 - 5 inch mark at the moment and maybe a few more south american cichlids once complete. I was thinking of a large canister such as a fx5 for mechanical and then possibly two sumps 1 for a wet/dry filter and 1 for a fluidised bed with k1 or possibly a planted sump for nitrate? i was thinking of setting out with a fx5 in rear centre pushing out either end and a wier/overflow and spray bar either end for the sumps. any help advice in any aspect will be much appreciated you all have so much knoledge on here yourve probably forgot more than i will ever know lol:grinno:
