I have a Tom's Pro Seris PS4 filter system that moves 1000gal of water an hour. Will that be enough for what a Atlantic Ray needs to thrive in a aquarium, or what will I need if thats not enough?

I would say not enough, not even knowing the size tank you have.

I am getting a 300gl and i have a Pacific Coast Imports Model# GX18000 that has a Hmax @ 19.5ft (4950GPH) coming from my 60gl sump into 2 outlets of plumbing and I think this might be enough current for my Ray and tankmates.

Although I'm FAR from expert on Rays, not yet current.

fresh or salt water :confused::confused:

tank size? tank mates? a canister would be a good add on for extra bio.....

fresh 100gal tank and as far as mates, I was looking at the black ghost knife, congo dolphin, baby whale, a few loaches, and thats about it for know.

atlantic stingrays produce a huge amount of urea when keep in freshwater. good filtration may help.....

i would set up a 24/7 water change system and change 20% a day and see how it goes.
