filtration! which filter?!?

hello all, before yesterday my tank is filter by a eheim 2260 bucket filter, and three fuval 403. but one of the 403 die yesterday.

i want to just keep the 2260 eheim bucket filter and get one more large external filter to replace all the fuval as they are getting old (almost 8-9 years) so here is the question..

which external filter is better? other 2260 eheim or fuval FX5?

Howdy,

How big's your tank, and what fish do you keep? What problems do you currently have that make you think a 2260 cannot be a standalone filter?
