I beleive you can't over filter a tank. My 180Gal. has 3 Aqua Clear 500's on it. Plus I use alot of bubblers!

That's hardly what I'd consider major filtration... about average filtration. Any less than 3 AC500s and I'd expect your tank to be pretty lightly stocked.

3 AquaClear 500's is not over filtering a 180.....

yep, thats not over filtering, i dont think the aquaclear actually move 500 gallons an hour, ive read some testimonials about it and they say it barly trickles (exageration)

i believe i saw stats saying it does 420-425 gph, but that's without media in it.
